Set in the unspoilt countryside of the Suffolk/Norfolk border, "Quiet Waters" is the perfect place to find rest, relaxation and renewal. The period house stands in two acres of picturesque gardens, which back onto the River Waveney. The fine market town of Bungay is within a 1 mile walk, where there are bus services to places including Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Beccles. Southwold, Dunwich and the coast are some 14 miles drive away.
Comfortable accommodation is available for up to 19 guests, but day groups of up to 20 are welcome. We can provide flexible catering arrangements to suit each guest, up to full board.
Quiet Waters provides an opportunity for Christians to seek God in a quiet, peaceful and safe environment that allows freedom and space to experience God's love. Although there is plenty of space for quietness, Quiet Waters is not a silent retreat house, and guests enjoy fellowship and conversation over meals and in the communal lounges.
The team has a confidential approach to individuals needs and is ready to help through prayer, worship, and led retreats or simply by listening.
